The USS Tiger Shark, an American submarine, skippered by Lt. Brice (Bruce Greenwood) is on its way home from a WWII mission, when the crew come across three survivors of a British hospital ship. Lt. Brice orders the recovery of the survivors. The rescue brings unrest among the crew as one of the survivors is a woman. Having a female on board is supposed to bring bad luck. It soon becomes clear, that once the survivors are on board, strange events soon start happening. Not only is the sub suffering unusual mechanical problems, they also have to play cat and mouse with ensuing U-Boats. Mysterious deaths, unexplained sightings abound as the crew fight for survival.
